Trail of Tears

Another commission but only this time this was for my family, Sun. She is my Native American cousin. She told me a story that my great Grandmother Jettie told that her grandfather lived through those times, took his wife, broke away from the trail and went to West Virginia. It's truly amazing how much you can learn from family history. She didn't want me to color or ink it. Just sketch. Because it was such a dark time for them back then.
